My stained glass journey began with stained glass, artist, mentor, and glass-father Ken Barrett. Windows and doors are said to symbolize new beginnings, and in my case that saying holds true. When a storm destroyed my door, Ken Barrett arrived on scene to rebuild it. We struck up a conversation about art, and before I knew it, he invited me to take classes at his studio. I never left.
Through his mentorship and encouragement, he gave me both the skills and the bravery to boldly step across the threshold of my new door and into the world of creating stained glass art.
